Hi Barry
passwd.sys file
VE3NAV 63 1023 THECOMPLETEPASSWORDSTRINGWITHOUTSPACES
fbbW version 1.5 working fine here under NT4
In configuration I have
Configuration name gb7cip
Hostnanme or address 44.131.244.1
Port default 3286
Password THECOMPLETEPASSWORDSTRINGWITHOUTSPACES
My xfbbC configuration (I only use the xfbbd deamon version)
/usr/local/sbin # more bbs
#!/bin/sh
/etc/ax25/fbb/bin/xfbbC -c -f -i g4apl -h 44.131.244.1 -w "THECOMPLETEP
ASSWORDSTRINGWITHOUTSPACES"
Wonder if you omitted the quotes?
Hope that give you a clue. Note run my programs from /etc/ax25/fbb/bin
(my choice and version xfbbd 7.03)
