I have discovered that if one type the command
YD ANTENNE\LOG.ZIP
the BBS gives the surprising : ready to send file ANTENNE.ZIP under YAPP
of course, the correct file (LOG.ZIP) is send.
Same problem happens in the dos area if the YGET command does not point to
the local directory (e.g.: YGET ANTENNE\LOG.ZIP).
Another about the DOS area :
Here the DOS area is part of the LINUX disk, not an MSDOS nor a FAT32 disk.So
the file names are a bit case sensitive. To avoid this, all file names are in
lower case, but they are seen in upper case by the users.Everything is ok
until a user writes a file name in upper case.In this case,it is not
availlable anyone until the sysops rename it in lowercase.A bit tricky in my
opinion...
Last one about the DOS area :
Is it possible to sort the file in alphabetical order (like with the DEFRAG
under DOS) ?
Open question about the DOC area :
I (also) put the DOC area in the LINUX disk, and I am not able to see any
subdirectory in it.So all DOC file must be in the same directory not very
easy for the users ... May be another problem of case-sensitive file name
under this one too,but can't proove it yet...Did anyone made it,or do I need
to move the DOC area under MSDOS ?
