Hello,
I'm new to packet radio. My goal is modest: to get the
linux software working, and receive any sort of packet
whatsoever via radio. I've been following along the
AX.25 HOWTO, and I'm now stuck.
I have my kernel recompiled with AX25 support, and
KISS support. I've got all my various ax25-tools
installed. I've got my radio/TNC hooked up to my
serial port.
In theory at this point, I think I should be able to
use "kissattach", but I can't!
[root@taz ax25]# /usr/local/sbin/kissattach /dev/ttyS0
radio 44.135.96.242
tty_speed: tcgetattr: Input/output error
I have seen this error elsewhere on the 'net, but not
a solution to the problem. Do you know what I might do
to proceed?
Here are some version numbers, please let me know if I
can provide any other information.
linux kernel 2.4.24
ax25-apps-0.0.6
ax25-tools-0.0.8
libax25-0.0.11
