Hi,
Annoncing the availability of SATDOC, a program to automagically
update satellite documentation files of F6FBB's BBS. No Sysops
intervention is needed as soon as the program is setup.
Starting with ANS-292, Mike N1JEZ favorably answered my
request to make a modification in AMSAT NEWS SERVICE
bulletins. In ANS bulletins, satellite news will now include the
international catalog number on a line after each satellite
name.
This allowed me to modify a software I wrote in the 90's.
It will read ANS bulletin sent via packet, collect any satellite
documentation or news and write it down into a specific
file that will be available to all BBS user when they issue
the corresponding command. See program documentation.
Present version 2.2e is for Linux and can be downloaded from
the following URL :
ftp://nephtys.lip6.fr/jussieu/labos/physio/amsat-f/f6bvp/satdoc22e.tar
A command line version for DOS / Win32 should be released
soon. Version 2.2f with its own doc is in french.
Any comments and reports are welcome.

Past AMSAT-France President
