We(*) have no idea, how Google groups are getting their message
feeds. Geocrawler we do know, but it is somewhat unreliable
      (has always been).

*) "We" as people who maintain vger's email system beside of
our actual work. Mostly our VGER time is spent on weeding out
people whose addresses are bouncing, and adding new (hardly ever
removing any) taboo-expressions to block e.g. scam letters and
M$-viruses from propagating thru our lists.

There is no list maintainer lurking on the list.
(And here I am contradicting myself, sort of .. I can do management,
but I don't do it spontaneously, nor am I actively following all
thousands of VGER emails that I receive. Just sampling...)

If you have issues with vger's functionality or listed information,
you should contact vger maintainers: vjjqc@gaja.tpnet.pl
Sometimes we reply: "tell us what to put there, and we put it",
      e.g. when listing archives.

On the other hand, Hessu's archive seems to work fine, just that
there isn't any search capability that I was able to spot right away.
I will have a bit of chat with Hessu about that.. (Yes, I do know him.)
