linux 2.4.21 and AX.25 support

    Hello,

            anyone here running ax.25 on a linux 2.4.21 system?
            I'm having problems with:
            - soundmodem: there is no output sound from the soundcard but
    with the -v debug option i can 'see' the packets going out.
            - yam modem: there is a countinuous sound and the output, with
    the 'listen' command showing the packets going, but they are never sent.

            I have everything configured correctly and i'm using for
    the tests a simple ping or call command. I have no kernel error messages :/
