    Have you checked the list of project admins/developers on
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/hamlib ?

    You probably are using GCC3. Add the --without-cxx-binding flag to your
    ./configure call. You'll lose libhamlib++ (the C++-wrapper for the C-lib
    libhamlib) though.
