    Hello Michael

Have a look on Erick F5EXO page at http://f5exo.free.fr
I convert his axmeteo software to a RPM at
    http://f6fgz.free.fr/Fichiers/axmeteo-2.3.3-1.i386.rpm

It can broadcast weather infos as APRS beacon. Plus other nice features !
