Hi Bob --
I had another reference for xlog, and it turns out that it's in Debian 3.0,
so it's now installed. I'm hoping to get TLF running for any
moderately-serious contesting I do, but it looks like xlog will work nicely
for my day-to-day needs.

By the way -- I had the same kind of video problems with my EliteGroup
motherboard -- system crashes that did bad, bad things to the filesystem.
Switching to a separate video card solved all those problems.
