    Problem solved...
    I forgot to compile and load ppdev.

    Also a patch as described in
    http://groups.google.com/groups?selm=linux.hams.Pine.LNX.4.21.0207080731370.1481-100000%40aeminium.aeminium.pt&output=gplain
    was needed to make it work.
