I am trying to upgrade a BBS-FPAC node system from 2.2.20 to 2.4.18
kernel using four mkiss ports through ttyS0 and ttyS2.
I am using the latest ax25 librairies, tools and apps collected from
sourceforge.
Everything works fine with 2.2.20 kernel but with 2.4.18 I only copy
garbage from the TNC.
Listen displays a lot of [invalid] lines and call 0 F5KCK (for example)
doest not activated the TNC for transmission.
I suspect mkiss for I can use the TNC normaly with minicom if I do not
set up ax25 module.
Can someone confirm that mkiss is not broken in 2.4.x kernel ?
If not what should be different in mkiss installation with this new
kernel ?
