    Hello, list !

I am trying to get NEC2 working on my linux box. But, sources and binaries
I've found does not produce the same output as DOS binary nec2d.exe
("Compiled with 32-bit Lahey Fortran") from nec-pc.zip. Furthermore, it seems
to me that linux versions gives less accurate results. Every diagram (gain,
F/B, impedance vs. frequency) is not smooth curve, but rather zigzag. And,
nec2d.exe is much faster, since it's compiled for 256 segments only. My
binaries are for thousands segments, but I think I could manage it - as soon
I find the time to study those 10,000 lines of FORTRAN code.

Nec2d.exe uses 32-bit extender, so I think it can't be run by dosemu from
linux. And it is very inpractical to reboot in DOS, run nec, than reboot
again in linux and check output in xnecview.

Nec-pc.zip archive was provided 1996. by Jozef Bergervoet, but e-mail
    included is no more valid.

I wonder, is the source of nec2d.exe identical with public available source
of NEC2? And, is there some similar experience with NEC?

Thanks in advance for your adivices.

    Kindly,
    Alek
