error in 'make' ax25-tools-0.0.6

    I followed the instructions in the AX25-HOWTO:

     # cd /usr/src
     # tar xzvf ax25-tools-0.0.6.tar.gz
     # cd ax25-tools-0.0.6
     # ./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc --localstatedir=/var
     # make
     # make install
     # make installconf (if you want to install the configuration files)

    I get the following error when I run 'make':
