    Hi Wilbert.

I've just posted an update to that patch that raises the number of
satellites to 26 in response to a post by the author of the gsat
program. This patch should be enough to break any predict clients with
the 24 limit hard coded (earthtrack works fine), but it still retains
the ease of use of the original.

I've written a bash script that downloads the celestrak kepler files
and merges them into one long list (removing duplicates) to which I will
probably add the functionality you describe above. I'll let you know how
I get on with it. However, the patch I'm working on should make that
redundant as one would just load the entire kepler set in one go.

The basic problem there is that if predict is running, it doesn't reread
the startup file, so your tweak would make no difference.

With 26 years in the software industry behind me, it's little more than
basic muscle exercises for me, but I can understand your thoughts...

    Best wishes from Riley.
