    Hi folks,

    I'm looking for recommendations for a mini distribution that either
    already contains ax.25 or where it is easy to add. The project is to
    build a small, robust ax.25/IP router using laptop hardware because (a)
    the hardware is designed for low power consumption and (b) I have one
    here that's not good for much else.

    I'm interested in mini distribs as I intend to use a compact flash card
    as the boot device to eliminate anything with moving parts, probably
    using the TAPR board.

    On a related note, is the current soundmodem code able to run 2 channels
    over the L and R channels of the sound card? Laptops are pretty
    I/O-poor, so that would allow one more channel on the machine.

    Thanks and 73,
    Mark VK2XGK
