Thanks, Riley, for the patch. I'll try it out over the (rainy) weekend.
The script I mentioned is pretty crude, only half a dozen lines of Bash
code. It looks up a series of selected satellites in a file called
preferred.sats. Next, it greps a freshly downloaded TLE file for elements
of those satellites. Finally, the grepped elements get dumped in
~/.predict/predict.tle, over-writing it.
I haven't tried this with Predict running, but, provided Predict doesn't lock
the ~/.predict/predict.tle file, chances are it would work.
In any case, what you are doing is, of course, the proper fix. It sounds
suspiciously like Hard Work :-)
