    It should be noted, for those not using Debian, that the hypen plus
    version number (x.x.x-1, for example) is the notation Debian maintainers
    use to mark their packaged release version of that package version.
    Clear as mud? I thought so.

    I'm mentioning this so folks using other distributions won't scour the
    'Net and bug the author about these apparently "newer" versions.
