some ax25 questions

    Hi everybody !

    I am quite new to this list, and also to haming, but I need some questions
    answered.

    I started making implementation (or rather porting one- not the linux one
    though) to FreeBSD machine, and I came over some questions. They are about
    tools for ax.25 and utilities.

    I have several packages, adn I don't know which to use. ax25-apps(0.0.4),
    ax25-tools(0.0.5) and ax25-utils(2.1.42a). Which of this packages is
    latest? It seems that ax25 utils has everything that both other ones have
    combined?? Is ax-25-utils replacement for apps and tools?

    What about libax25 package. Is this package neccessary? What does it do?
    Does utils package depend on libax25? Does utils package directly access
    ax25 or does it use libax25?

    OK. I think this will be for start...
