    Hi all,
If anyone has had difficulties with bastille-netfilter (iptables)
this is the standard firewall implementation on Mandrake 8.1,
it can also be used with SuSe and Redhat .
I found problems with axip links with the other end of the tunnels
using either native linux (ax25ipd) & tnos encap
the following lines added to the custom section allow both

    ${IPTABLES} -A PUB_IN -p 93 -i eth1 -j ACCEPT
    ${IPTABLES} -A PUB_IN -p 4 -i eth1 -j ACCEPT

substitute your own ethernet interface number for eth1
    Tnos uses ip-protocol 93, listed as AX25
native linux ax25ipd uses ip-protocol 4, listed as IPIP
    HTH
    73
    Richard
