Ax25 utils and 2.4.8(x) kernels

    Hi,

    I wonder if others have seen this....I am using an SCC card, the init of this
    goes well, but as soon as I use an ax25 tool to configure the rest of the
    amateur side of things I get a kernel lock up, not immediately, sometimes
    it's a few mins later or more. It's seems to be whe I use the command
    axparms, but that may be just un-lucky.

    I am using.

    2.4.8-34.1mdk
    scc modules installed as modules by insmod.

    ax25-apps-0.0.5
    ax25-tools-0.0.8
    libax25-0.0.9

    I did try and compile and install 2.4.17 but this fails to load via lilo
