    You're right. VNC can do a form of application sharing, as can a couple of X11
    utilities, but not in a NetMeeting compatible way.

    I discovered I'm wrong about applications sharing being MS specific. It's
    apparently also standardised, but not implemented in gnomemeeting yet.
