Hi all, just one wee problem with that -15 is the first ssid to be asigned to a user when using your node to go elsewhere

the only convention I know of
id -5 for the main tcpip user port, wher is ip is the only mode used
and -7 for the node which netrom will use, ie if you use aznode or node.

I don't know about any written convention, but a fairly universal one
for AX.25 appears to be as follows:

       -0 User in person.
       -2 2m node.
       -4 4m node.
       -7 70cm, node.
       -8 BBS.
       -12 TCP/IP node.
       -15 NET/ROM relay.

I've never seen this written down, but have observed that pattern in
various areas of both England and Scotland when I've been living there.
I've also been told that -6 is used for 6m nodes, but have never seen
any nodes on 6m so can't confirm that such is the case.

    Best wishes from Riley.
