    I read this hoping it would solve my problem of errors in timer.h with 2.4.x
    and ax25-tools-0.0.6, and it did. No more structure failure error with
    timer.h.

    However, I noe have new errors in ax25-toolls-0.0.8 with 2.4.0. After running
    ./configure and then make I get

    gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -DAX25_SYSCONFDIR=\""/etc/ax25/"\"
    -DAX25_LOCALSTATEDIR=\""/var/ax25/"\" -g -O2 -Wall -c mkiss.c

    mkiss.c:405: storage size of `timeout' isn't known
    mkiss.c:405: storage size of `pollinterval' isn't known
    mkiss.c:405: warning: unused variable `pollinterval'
    mkiss.c:405: warning: unused variable `timeout'
    make[2]: *** [mkiss.o] Error 1

    Now what gives???
