    Definitly keep RH 7.2 out of that.
    This problem had already related here. PTT doesn't work well with Soundmodem
    0.4 and kernel 2.4.x. Read archive list. I remember an Om had posted a patch
    about this.

    I don't know if the PTT problem with kernel 2.4.x is fix in Soundmodem-0.5 (I
    didn't try), but this problem had also related here!

    Tomi tell us that Thomas had forgotten a "!".

    Then download the source package from the Thomas's soundmodem home page and try
    this patch.

    Tell us if the ptt problem is still with us!
