Hello all
Previously I was running Redhat 7.1 with soundmodem-4.4-1 quite succesfully.

I have installed Red Hat 7.2,
I have recompiled with ax25 support.
On attempting to use the soundmodem, reception was ok, but no PTT on TX.
I uninstalled soundmodem ver 4.
I have installed soundmodem-5.5, and configured it the same as before
Now on running "soundmodem" I get the error message "cannot start audio"
The sound card is working fine, to the best of my knowlege there is nothing else using the sound card.
In the config the sound card is set at sm0
