    Hi Phil,

    ax25d and it's config file ax25d.conf only handle *incoming* connections.
    That is when someone first sends you a connection request (SABM) and your
    system fires up an application like node or bbs to accept the call.
    Judging from what you write you can continue ignoring the file... :-)
