    Greetings all

    The next revision of webconvers, the PHP web interface to a convers server,
    is available for download at http://www.tvipug.org/download.html

    This release sees several improvements, mostly aimed at getting data through
    a proxy or to display on browsers that are not happy with a continually
    open session. This is accomplished using a few segments of javascript in a
    hidden frame that refreshes the main output display. Netascape (and the
    mozilla derivatives) and IE look OK with this new stuff - Konqueror looks to
    have broken Javascript :-((. The new approach can be chosen at login time or
    the package can be set up to behaive as now by setting the Javascript
    refresh time to 0.

    Other improvements include more consistent configuration, file locking in
    the database, timeout of old data left in the database and again more
    readability (comments!) changes and additional documentation.

    I'm still hoping for more language files - I know of a couple of people
    using the package so lets see a bit of feedback please?

    TODO: next release will have a user listing panel...
