Hello Phil...
I have the same problem. When I run beacon, it sends packet with predefined
text and computer locks up and I must use hard restart.
I use 2.4.10 kernel, but I think it is not problem of kernel, but beacon.
What version of kernel do you use?
tnx.
Duro, OM8ACE
Phil

Unconnected packets
Hello All,
How can I send unconnected packets using the AX25 utilities and a Baycom
style modem? This may appear to be a very basic question but it is
something
that I haven't needed to do until now.
I know I could use the "unproto" command if I had a hardware TNC and I
thought that "beacon" may have solved my problem, in a crude sort of way,
but
it causes the computer to lock-up.
