The fastest way to solve this is asking the windows-users to download
"putty", a powerfull free telnet client. There is also a windows version,
and it does not need any installation. It is just an executable which can be
started from any directory.
It also has SSH on-board. I use it for calling in remote on my system at
home with my qrl-laptop running windows.
