I understand that it is possible to use AX25IPD with a kiss TNC, to
directly access a radio port.
What I am trying to do is set up a router to a radio lan on one
computer, to be accessed by other
computers via AXIP. Is anyone out there using AX25IPD to directly access
a kiss TNC/radio
port? If so, how did you set it up? To do that it it additionally
required to setting up AX25D,
AX25RTD, NETROMD, LINUXNODE, etc, or can I simply run AX25IPD on my
linux
computer by itself to create a pipe to the radio port via AXIP?
The above being said, I am still struggling to get the linux native ham
radio packages configured. I
am using SuSE 6.4 and 7.2. I would appreciate any and all help that one
might be willing to provide.
I am currently running TNOS on my main linux box and hope to move my
AXIP links to AX25IPD
at some point, but continue to have problems. I have tried to download
the various documentation on
the topics but have only had limited success thus far. I may wish to
provide some kind soul with an account
on my machine such that they might poke around and figure out where I
have gone wrong. It is time
to ask for help.
Thanks for your time :)
