    Hi Matt and all,

RH7.0 distribution was originally with 2.2.16 Kernel. I have made upgrade
to version 2.4.3, the highest as posible at this time.
I didnīt test the AX25 utilities with 2.2.16 Kernel, only with 2.4.3. Do
you thinkwhen I will upgrade to version 2.4.10 of Kernel, should it be ok?

    Duro, OM8ACE

Your first move should be to upgrade your kernel.
2.4.3 is what came with RH7.0 as the default, correct?
Its ancient now, you should update to the latest kernel 2.4.10.

Have you been able to successfully run the AX25 utilities with a 2.4.x
    kernel before,
or are you just moving up to 2.4.3 from 2.2.x?
I'm not positive but I think when they made the jump from 2.2.x series to
    2.4.x series they made some
significant changes to the AX25 utilities. I don't have much person
    experience with it myself
but I have compiled many kernels.
