Hello,

I need some help to get AXIP working here on my Suse 7.2 (kernel 2.4.4)

Other info:
ax25apps 0.0.5-9
ax25tools 0.0.6-120

I have done the next steps as root:

Did add a port to axports (axip) and give it a callsign
Config ax25ipd and add a route
Did
/usr/sbin/kissattach /dev/ptyq0 axip ipnumber
Get the message axip bound to ax0
So far so good
Then:
/usr/sbin/ax25ipd &
and get an error:
Config file not found or could not be opened.

ax25ipd.conf is in /etc/ax25 and has permission 644 user root group
root
ax25ipd is located in /usr/sbin and has permission 755 user root group
root

Running those commands on a Suse 6.3 (kernel 2.2.13) system they work!

Are there bugs related to axip in tose packages?
IS there something that I doing wrong?
