    Same thing here! Exactly. I've already mentioned this problem several
    times,
    and found no solution. Today I tried again - this time with kernel 2.4.9,
    and
    the latest tools/utils/libax25. Took about 10 minutes and the computer
    hung
    completely - same as it has done with several previous kernel versions.

    So I'll go back to WA8DED mode. A pity...

    I'm fairly adventureous - if someone hints what to do, I'll try and test
    it
    here. I've some experience with gdb and a few other tools.

PS: I've just replaced th 6pack ROM by a KISS ROM and used kissattach
instead of spattach, and it works! So I guess the problem is inside
the 6pack driver, as I suspected all along. I'll try to get in touch
with the author.
