Terminal Program

      I would like to know a decent terminal program to use for a DX Cluster
    connection. I know I can use Minicom, but as a newbie to linux (about 2
    weeks) root is not the place for me to be. I saw a program called Ckermit
    that looked like a possible. Any other suggestions ??

      I tried to install ax25, but had no luck. Looked through the archieves,
    there was some help, but was vague to me. Wish some of the answers assumed
    not everyone is a linux expert.
