Hello,
Sorry for offtopic but something happened to TNOS mailing list and I know
this list is read by many TNOS users.
I am using TNOS v2.40/Linux. I can't make pop3 server to allow users
retrieve their e-mail.
When I telnet to server's 110 port in authorization stage I get following:
>USER sysop
+OK user
>PASS ****
-ERR Access DENIED!!
My net.log entries:
Fri Sep 7 11:03:56 2001 44.*.*.*:2658 - open POP3
Fri Sep 7 11:04:10 2001 44.*.*.* - POP3 access DENIED to sysop
Fri Sep 7 11:06:55 2001 44.*.*.* - close POP3
When I type security (being as sysop) I get only three features disabled. I
suspect all these aren't related with pop3d:
BBS forwarding access NOT enabled
Special gateway access NOT enabled
Email held for review NOT enabled
Could someone help me ?
Thanks in advance,
Zilvinas ly2ss
