Something is buggy with XNET v1.3 and "ax" devices. Look at console output or
/var/log/message and you will see this kind of message:
Sep 1 12:55:22 f6fgz kernel: protocol 0000 is buggy, dev ax2
Sep 1 12:55:27 f6fgz kernel: NET: 9 messages suppressed.
