There seems to be a general consensus that updating the AX25-HOWTO
would be a good thing, and several people are willing to help out, so
I plan to go ahead with it.

I'm not so sure if the HAM-HOWTO needs to be resurrected. I don't
want to try to maintain an accurate list of all amateur radio applications,
the radio.linux.org.au website does a good job of that. But I would
like to see the visibility of the applications raised. I've done a lot
of web searches but had not come across this site until it was mentioned
here. My first instinct would be to go to freshmeat.net, and not too
much shows up there. The radio.linux.org.au site does show up on google,
but it is easy to miss. There are lots of old copies of the HAM-HOWTO
    still around on the 'net.

I will get back to the list when I have some more details on what I
plan to update, and where I need help.
