Don't get the two documents confused:
AX25-HOWTO is how to get ax25 and friends working, configuring various
things etc.
HAM-HOWTO is a list of packages that can be used in hamradio.
The first howto is really in desperate need of an update, the second one
is better catered by a dynamic website, such as radio.linux.org.au
However the AX25-HOWTO should probably mention that the
radio.linux.org.au website exists.
What the HOWTO needs is for someone to put their hand up and say 'i will
be responsible for this, if you want to contribute then let me know'.
It's similar to what happens to the programs themselves, I'm responsible
of getting them out, but there are others contributing. I'm hoping some
others take over a particular program or two completely.. Getting back
to the HOWTO, this would be like someone else saying, 'ok then, I will
send changes on the section about, say, aprs to you'.
This model works well, it is how most free software projects, including
the Linux kernel itsel, are done basically.
