Dear Craig,
Thanks for your attention to my email.
On my system /usr/local/etc/ax25 is a link to /etc/ax25 - I hope this is
not the problem.
After reading your message I noted the /etc/ax25/ax25rtd didn't exist, and
so I created it, but message didn't change when I tried to start ax25rtd.
Then I touched both files - didn't work either. Then I decided to take a
look at the Makefile generated by the ./configure command, and I found out
it was looking for the directory /usr/local/var/ax25/ax25rtd directory
(please note the /var in the middle) - then I created it and touched the
files (ax25_route and ip_route) and then ax25rtd loaded ok.
Then I tried to login into my system using and AXIP connection from other
other gateway, but the connection didnīt complete, but I realized ax25rtd
is working now, as ax25rtdtl --list ax25 shows:
[root@py2fus ~]# ax25rtctl --list ax25
Callsign Port Last update Path
PY2FUS-15 axip Mon Aug 6 14:47:06
The console screen shows the following messages related:
from_kiss: AX25: (l=198) XBCLX -> PY2FUS-15
lookup call PY2FUS-15 fails
lookup broadcast PY2FUS-15
from_kiss: dumped - cannot figure out where to sent this !
I thought ax25rtd would take care of this problem, as the AXIP connection
works fine between our gateway and those declared at ax25ipd.conf. The
problem on arises when a user logged in one of these gateways listed on my
ax25ipd.conf tries to log into our system. I hope I'm making myself
understood (sorry for my poor English).
I'm using ax25-apps-0.0.5, libax25-0.0.7 and ax25-tools-0.0.8.
Any additional tip ?
Thanks in advance.
