This is probably the main error, it cannot make the socket for
controlloing the daemon, could be a path problem.

My no-so-wild guess is you have things in /etc/ax25 when they should be
in /usr/local/etc/ax25 or vice-versa. Second wild guess is you don't
have the ax25rtd subdirectory.
