Thank you very much for all the helpful responses and the offers to look at
the problems.
I shall try to check the "FBB - telnet - linuxnode - telnet - FBB" scenario
sometime this week.
We have currently got around the problem by setting up a Netrom (AXIP) link
between the nodes in question and using AX25 forwarding.
