Hello All,
I'm attempting to install LinPac in an effort to make use of a more
sophisticated environment that that offered by the listen and call utilities.
However, I haven't progressed very far.
I altered the prefix variable in linpac.in as follows:
PREFIX=/usr/local
That change overcame an error message dealing with a directory named
"@prefix@".
The second run through with the linpac.in script resulted in a series of
messages telling me that the following directories did not exist:
/usr/local/share/linpac/mail
/usr/local/share/linpac/bin
/usr/local/share/linpac/macro
/usr/local/share/linpac/plugins
/usr/local/share/linpac/linpac
So I created them and ran the script again (after again deleting the
generated directories in the home directory) but still no joy.
Another problem also shows up during make. Two errors and 4 warnings are
reported for the functions time_stamp and date_stamp. The error is,
"dereferencing pointer to incomplete type". This has nothing to do with the
script but it could be a problem latter.
Finally, I ran the script as root and the version of LinPac is 0.16pre4.
Any ideas?
