Anyone have any experience with IRLP (www.irlp.net)? It's a means
of linking repeaters over the internet -- you can bring links
up/down using DTMF codes, or you can join a group for automated
linked nets. Apparently users install a custom-designed board on a
system running RH 6.2, then the IRLP administrator VE7LTD installs
the software (total expense about US$100). Looks like there are
about 100 repeaters using IRLP, mostly in Canada and U.S. including
Hawaii and Alaska, plus Australia and a few in Europe.
I've been interested in doing something like this for a while and a
friend just pointed me to IRLP. I'd appreciate any feedback.
