OK, thanks for the help on this.
For those curious I wanted to use my log-book program than runs under
Win95 on a computer in one part of the house to access the DX cluster via
the TNC that reside on a Linux machine in another part of the house.
I've now worked out a solution.
The Logbook program can Telnet to a host, so I simply telnet to Linux, and
then log in and setup a "call" with the -r switch.
