What sort of "server program" are you looking for? In other words,
what sort of service is it required to provide?
> The connection to the DXcluster can be via netrom or AX25.
Both are standard parts of the Linux kernel, so neither is a problem
to set up. As far as the "server program" is concerned, it would be
unlikely to know how you connected, and even less likely to care.
> Is there anything like this in existance ?
That depends on precicely what you want it to do.
You could do worse than look at the Linux software on
http://www.f6fbb.org for the FPAC node software, which handles all
forms of ham connectivity to your Linux computer and lets the
applications deal with application related matters rather than with
connectivity matters. Drop the F6FBB BBS software on top of that
together with your DXcluster software and whatever else you want.
Best wishes from Riley.
