When you say it doesn't trigger, do you mean that the receiver squelch
doesn't open? Perhaps the TX delay on the transmitter needs to be a bit
longer. Or you may wish to leave the squelch permanently open.. I find
that to be the most effective method, and the soundmodem's carrier
detection can handle that just fine.
