Yes, the TH-D7A handheld looked REALLY cool. I don't think a mobile
will work well in my open jeep. To easy to steal.
What are the FCC rules regarding data transmission over packet? I
would like to run TCP/IP over AX.25 to check my email. All
transmission is intended for non-commercial/low bandwith applications. Is this
possible? Will people get mad? What if I run a repeater at my house
with internet backbone? Is this frowned upon?
Using packet radio in these situations is so interesting. I hope
other people feel this way.
