This is an old problem and has been reported here quite a few times. No
good solution has been found however as far as I know. The release notes
for kernel 2.2.14 (http://www.linux.org.uk/VERSION/relnotes.2214.html)
says:
AX.25
A memory leak has been exterminated. The "protocol foo is buggy"
message should also be dead and buried.
Apparently it isn't quite dead and buried... I wonder if Alan remembers
what was done to fix it in 2.2.14.
