Hi all, still pulling my hair out trying to get this beast to work,
sccinit seems to work, the card is found , and the interface can be bought up
and configured, BUT it still hears nothing and still no modulation,
ptt works !!!
what has occured to me is the board uses an z8530 and a z8536.
the config file set the a & b control and data port addresses, but dos'nt
set the addresses for the z8536.
The base addresss I'm using is 0x310, according to the drsi info I have
the addresses are
0x310 b control
0x311 b data
0x312 a control
0x313 a data
----------------
z8536
0x314 a data
0x315 b data
0x316 c data
0x317 master control... now words like master make me suspicious !
Has anyone succeeded with one of these cards, not a clone or similar, as
apparently I'm not the only person to have trouble with it.
Thre main question must be does Jorg's driver work with this card, as both
the PA0HZP and Baycom cards just use z8530's.
