Same thing here... I now have 2.2.16 and 2.4.2 installed. All is well with
the 2.2.16 kernel, but doesn't work with the 2.4.2 kernel. I also suspect
6pack, and tried to replace the 0.3 version supplied with the 2.4x kernel
with the 0.4.2 last version I could find. It did not compile under the
kernel, generating a lot of errors. Apart from the fact that I'm no C expert
I didn't have the time to find out why.
I do have the impression it's a memory issue - the error occurs after
quite a while. Did you find any solution?
